Fun times are brewing…
The Co-op has a wonderful space (capacity 65), a commercial kitchen and a delicious chai recipe. We are licensed to serve (and keep in stock) a range of locally brewed beers, and one of our wonderful cooks can cater any type of function. If you’re looking to do a staff party, a small wedding, an album launch or a family function, consider booking it through the co-op! Email workers@cbrfoodcoop.org.au for more information.
Space hire
The Co-op is available as a venue for hire. Our space can be transformed to suit your meeting, party, music event, film night or workshop needs. We have audiovisual equipment for hire including microphones, amplifier and sound system, and a projector. We would love to provide catering for your event at the Co-op – check out our catering options below.
Kitchen hire
Our kitchen is unavailable for hire to new clients until further notice. We plan to make it available once again in the future.
Our kitchen is available to hire and includes a four-burner gas stove, large oven, ample sinks, dish sanitising machine and plenty of bench space. For kitchen workshops, we recommend no more than eight people in the kitchen at once because it can get a bit crowded. Please note that only vegetarian food can be prepared in our kitchen.

Perfect for Canberra’s cold winters and long summer nights, our lunch/dinner curry special brings our famous food to your home, workplace or event! Made with locally sourced seasonal produce by our amazing team of chefs, send your guests home with full, happy stomachs!
Cakes, biscuits & other baked goods. (Ve & GF option) $5 pp
We can do cakes, we can do slices, we can do biscuits. Vegan? Gluten Free? Both? Icing sugar? Sweet treats? Savoury snacks? Our bakers are keen, lean and up for the challenge!
An assortment of dried fruit and nuts (Ve & GF) $8 pp
Looking for a grazing platter? Enjoy a selection of our high quality organic and/or Australian dried fruit and nuts.
Mixed vegetarian/vegan sandwiches (Ve option) $12 pp
Canapes/finger food. Three savoury canapes and one sweet per person. (Ve & GF option) $15 pp

Masala chai $3 pp
Our home-brew soy masala chai, made with a Prana Produce blend, soy milk and agave syrup. Best in town!
Tea $4 per large pot
Coffee $3.50 pp
Alcoholic beverages $8 each
We carry a variety of Farmhand Organic Wine, Capital Brewing Co. beers and Cider.
