Basis: Part-time, 1 year
Hours: 12 hours per week
Remuneration: $26.66 per hour (Retail Award Level 8 part time)
Commitment required: We’re looking for someone that can fill the role while our general manager is on maternity leave from mid-April 2021 for 12 months.

Role Description – duties include but are not limited to:
- Procedural and shop infrastructure & maintenance
- Staff and volunteer collaboration, management & correspondence
- Business, office and IT administration
- Finance management
- Presiding over tenancy, body corporate, and insurance matters
- Developing policy and procedure documents
- Ensuring good OH&S procedures for all volunteers and staff
- Strategic planning
- Demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to join an engaging, inclusive and strategic work environment
- Attend monthly board meetings
Selection Criteria (max 1000 words total):
1.Understanding of and experience working within a community organisation
2. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively within a diverse team
3. Proven skills in planning and prioritising tasks within a demanding and dynamic environment with limited supervision
4. Experience of office management and administration
5. Excellent written, electronic, individual face to face and group communication skills
6. Experience of and commitment to high standard of customer service
7. Understanding of financial business strategies
8. Understanding of and commitment to the goals of the Food Co-op, cooperative structures, consensus decision-making and conflict resolution strategies
9. Understanding of and commitment to workplace health and safety, and equal employment opportunity
